Robert Archer

Born in Valencia (Spain) in 1976

His works are characterised by minimalism and the dialogue between matter and emptiness. Carefully composed in both texture and colour, Robert Archer works with an austere palette, dominated by monochromatic tones rich in nuances.

Colour, applied as a paste, becomes both substance and tactile texture. He conceives the surface of the painting as an “all over”, covering every space to create an immersive atmosphere.

His textures evoke the earth and its strata, reflecting the passage of time and always inspired by nature.

Although his work appears abstract, it emerges from a deep observation of the natural environment. This approach allows him to combine simplicity and complexity, inviting contemplation and reflection.

Main characteristics of his work.

  • Subdued colours.
  • Subtle reliefs.
  • Tactile finish.
