Diana Fuertes

Born in Valencia (Spain) in 1966

Her works are characterised by precise gestures and strokes that bring movement and structure to the composition. A free, organic visual language where watercolour shapes fluid and spontaneous images.

The artist develops her work from a balance between emotion and intuition, allowing gesture and colour to flow naturally. Her compositions evoke forms of nature, inner landscapes or atmospheres open to interpretation. Through transparencies, empty spaces and loose lines, she creates a personal language —silent yet eloquent.

With a conscious view of art as a means of communication, her work invites a sensitive reading, where the observer engages both emotionally and rationally, establishing a personal bond with each piece.

Main characteristics of her work.

  • Soft colours.
  • Japanese style.
  • Watercolour.
